Privacy Policy for Rig Raiders
Rig Raiders is operated by Star XR Limited. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect or process, how we use it, and how users can request deletion of their data.
1. Data we collect or process
Rig Raiders may collect or process:
- Meta Horizon user identifiers or platform identifiers needed to identify a player account.
- Meta Horizon user profile information, where used to provide account or platform features.
- Age category information provided by Meta, such as child, teen, or adult age category.
- Friends and relationship data from Meta Horizon platform services, such as friend list or relationship information, where available and where used to support friend-related features.
- Invite-related data from Meta Horizon platform services, where used to support invite or join features.
- Entitlement, in-app purchase, and downloadable content information, such as app ownership and in-app purchase status.
- Gameplay data, such as player progress, inventory, crafting, unlocks, virtual currency balances, cosmetics, marketplace data, and upgrades.
- Multiplayer data, such as server connection information, gameplay session state, and gameplay actions needed to operate the game.
- Technical data, such as IP address, server logs, crash logs, error logs, and security logs.
Some platform data, such as friend, invite, or profile information, may be processed temporarily to provide platform features and may not be stored permanently by Star XR Limited.
We do not collect or store payment card details. Purchases are processed through Meta Horizon / Meta Quest platform services.
2. How we use data
We use data to:
- Provide and operate Rig Raiders.
- Identify player accounts and maintain player progress.
- Save player progress, inventory, purchases, unlocks, and upgrades.
- Operate multiplayer servers and gameplay sessions.
- Support friend-related, invite-related, and join-related gameplay features, where available.
- Verify app ownership, entitlements, in-app purchases, and downloadable content.
- Apply age-appropriate restrictions and safety features.
- Protect the game from abuse, cheating, fraud, and security issues.
- Fix bugs, diagnose technical issues, and provide support.
- Comply with legal obligations where required.
3. Children and age-appropriate features
Rig Raiders may be available to mixed age groups. For users aged 10–12, we use Meta’s age category information to provide an age-appropriate version of the game.
Child users do not have access to open social communication features such as voice chat, text chat, direct messaging, party invites, guild invites, player-authored global broadcasts, visible seller names, player profiles, or direct player-to-player trading.
For child users aged 10–12, friend list, invite, and profile-related features may be unavailable or restricted. We do not use friend, invite, or profile data to provide open social communication features to child users.
Child users may still access the core multiplayer gameplay experience, but social communication and identity-exposing features are restricted.
4. In-app purchases
Rig Raiders may offer in-app purchases, virtual currency, cosmetics, upgrades, downloadable content, and other digital items.
Purchases are processed through Meta Horizon / Meta Quest platform services. We do not collect or store payment card details.
For child users, purchasable items are intended to be deterministic, age-appropriate, and non-social.
5. Service providers
We use service providers to operate the game.
OVHcloud is used as a hosting and infrastructure provider for backend systems, multiplayer servers, and database storage.
Meta Horizon / Meta Quest platform services are used for platform features such as user ID, user profile, friend-related platform features, invite-related platform features, entitlement checks, age category information, in-app purchases, and downloadable content processing.
6. Data retention
We keep user data only for as long as needed to provide the game, maintain player progress, operate purchases and entitlements, provide support, protect security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Some temporary platform data, such as friend, invite, or profile information, may only be processed during use of the related feature and may not be stored permanently.

Please include your Meta user ID so we can identify the relevant game account. Do not send sensitive information that is not needed for the request.
We may ask for additional limited information if needed to verify and locate the correct account before completing a deletion request.
There is no fee to request deletion of your data.
When a deletion request is received, we will delete or anonymize stored user data where possible, unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or platform compliance reasons.
8. User rights
Users may contact us to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of their personal data, where applicable under data protection law.
Users may also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office if they have concerns about how their personal data is handled.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
